Just back from seeing "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". I liked it. Very fun little film. Good casting.

Cineplex in brand-new upscale mall--- never been out there before, never even knew the mall was there. It's laid out in narrow cobblestoned streets. There's a nice little new B&N--- I looked at books after the film. I scanned through their map section and their bound journals and tried on hip reading glasses. Drove home in the rain--- heavy and windy, but I wasn't panicky. Brought the little Psyduck iPod. Listened to Coldplay do "Cemeteries of London" and t.a.t.u. do "Dangerous and Moving". Duran Duran took me home with "Notorious" and "Ordinary World".

Stopped outside the little Jewish Cemetery I found a couple of weekends ago and judged angles for photos I'd like to take.

All simple enough--- drive to a mall and see a film, drive home. Even using surface streets, that's...a few miles each way. Hardly remarkable. But I wouldn't have done it a few weeks ago. There's an Eduardo-kun inside me who still has a life to live.

It's been a good weekend.
