Being a small hedgehog is a vur' good thing.

Of course, I'm actually a small long-eared desert hedgehog. We are a rare but most pettable variety of little hedgehog. You can find out more about us at hedgies.com, I think.

Long-eared desert hedgehogs are found from Tunisia through Arabia, from Central Asia into Mongolia. We are friends of the Small Mongolian Ponies, and often accompany them on caravans through the Land of the Wild Pikachus all the way to Volpukia.

Long-eared desert hedgehogs have little pointed ears that are most corgi-like. Having corgi-like qualities is always a vur' good thing.

We also enjoy being with Small Messenger Capybaras and little Fez-Wearing Wombats on autogyro flights to Hokkaido-- and of course to the coastal cities of Volpukia. Autogyros are vur' cool.

As a small long-eared desert hedgehog, I hope everyone has a vur' pleasant and pettable Christmas. I will be joining the Small Mongolian Ponies, Marley's Ghost, and the Ghost of J.Lo Husbands Yet To Come for a traditional Volpukian Christmas Eve. The little wombats and the Small Messenger Capybaras will sing "Good King Wenceslas" (my vur' favorite Christmas carol) and we will all exchange trilobite-themed gifts.
